How do I capture the attention of the audience?

Here are three ways to capture the attention of your audience during your next presentation.

1. Be relevant
Speak to the interests of the group. Point out why this is important to them. Answer the question in the mind of your audience, “What’s in it for me?”

2. Change your delivery
During your presentation be sure to change the delivery. These changes can be simple changes. You might move your position on stage. Use your voice to emphasize key points.

3. Tell colorful stories
This could be one of the best ways to capture and hold the attention of your audience. A good story is powerful. Stories embrace hearts, sell product and stimulate hope.
